Cosmo's Factory was Creedence's fifth album in less than two years. It was a major commercial success, reaching #1 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart, and spawning three top-5 singles; (US #2),"Lookin Out My Back Door" "Travelin' Band" (US #2), and "Up Around The Bend" (US #4) were all big hits. More amazingly, it also reached #11 on what was then the Billboard Soul chart, a crossover feat nearly unheard of for a white pop/rock band. I like this album because of there cover of Marvin Gaye's Grape Vine and the classic song Run Through The Jungle.
